In 1969, Southwestern Michigan Emergency Services, P.C. was incorporated and began the full-time physician staffing of the Bronson Methodist Hospital Emergency Department (a Level 1 Trauma Center with current visits of 180,000 annually). Staffing of this facility in Kalamazoo, Michigan has continued uninterrupted.

Since inception, Southwestern Michigan Emergency Services, P.C. has also contracted with several additional hospital emergency departments in the area to provide part-time and full-time coverage. Our goal is to furnish the highest quality care to the hospitals and patients we serve, as well as, maintain a superior working environment for the clinical providers we employ.
